Head Energy Group’s ISO-certifications regarding Quality Management, Environment, and Health & Safety have been updated and extended. The update applies for both Head Energy AS and the engineering department and the subsea & technology department, respectively.

-We are very pleased to renew and prolong our certifications, as they secure both at stable framework and predictability for our continuous work with business development and growth throughout the whole organization, says COO & responsible for HSE & Quality at Head Energy Group, Preben A. Onarheim.

The subsea- & technology unit Head Energy Multicontrol continues as certified developer and manufacturer of products. With several ongoing development projects, this certification is vital to manage a planned scale-up says Managing Director, Trond Erik Gundersen:

-We work systematically with development of products, solutions, and technology that at some point will need to be commercialized. To make the leap from development to production and commercialization, it is integral to have a solid structure, methodology and above all, traceability. A third-party seal of approval is a very important and useful tool for us, Gundersen, says.

Rapidly developing organization

With consistent growth in all Head Energy’s markets and more complex projects and contracts, Preben A. Onarheim is certain that certification and documentation will be a continuous process in the years to come, and that more business units will require bespoke certifications. He also points out that the certification processes thus far have highlighted that Head Energy has a thorough and well incorporated culture for quality, accountability, and transparency:

-A certification process can easily become challenging, and it is easy to fall behind in terms of documentation and traceability. With that in mind, we are very happy to conclude that throughout these certification processes, all our departments have demonstrated a high level of control, proactive behavior, and solid procedures. This makes the certification process itself more of a formality, because the underlying culture is so strong. I believe we should all be very proud of that and work really hard to nurture and develop it further as the organization keeps on growing, Onarheim concludes.
