Aragon (Petrobras) – Marlim II – Topside Process

In April 2020, Yinson Production awarded the Bergen-based engineering and technology company Aragon two contracts for seven modules for gas treatment and compression for the FPSO Anna Nery.
Aragon designs, procure and construct the modules for the FPSO that will be commissioned offshore Brazil. Head Energy handles part of the engineering scope in collaboration with Aragon and Focus Engineering.

Anna Nery is an oil tanker being rebuilt to an FPSO. The gas modules are set to be delivered in 2021 and the contracts are worth almost 1 billion NOK combined.

Head Energy handles the engineering scope concerning electrical, instrument and automation and has provided additional multi-discipline resources. A team from Head Energy’s topside engineering division works from Aragon’s premises in Bergen, fully integrated with the project teams from Aragon and Focus Engineering.

-This is a an exciting and challenging greenfield project and we are happy to assist our good partner Aragon. This contract proves that Norwegian engineering is held in high regard internationally and that collaboration between strong professional environments enable us to handle large scale projects.
