FEED lasted from May to December 2021 settling concept for removal of mercury and sulpur and engaged a multi-discipline engineering team which worked closely with Equinor’s own team, several technology suppliers and civil contractor.
After a thorough screening process, a stand-out concept was identified, followed by detailed engineering within respective disciplines.
After completing the FEED study, Head Energy Solve was awarded the EPCI project for tie-in and groundwork.
Scope of work included:
- Prefabricated piping, valves, E&I equipment, pressure reduction cabinet, access platform
- Groundwork including preparation of zoning plan
- Installation in cooperation with subcontractors
On-site installation was conducted under supervision of Head Energy Solve.
