Visualisation and animation in architecture – taking the project from idea to reality

Visualisations and animations give everyone involved in a project the opportunity to see its potential long before it is built. By using visualisations and animations, you can sharpen the project all the way from the early phase to completion.
Whether you as a client need to see the flow of spaces, materials, the effect of light, a particular detail or something else, we can help you.
Why are visualisation & animation important?
Early in a project, it can be difficult to picture how something will turn out. Visualisations & animations can lift sketches and simple drawings to a level that creates a shared understanding of intentions and goals. Visual presentations make it possible to communicate architecture in a way that adds value for everyone involved.
Visualisation and animation can:
- Make decision-making processes simpler and faster
- Provide an effective tool in dialogue with authorities, users and stakeholders
- Help reduce the risk of misunderstandings and costly changes along the way
- Strengthen the communication and marketing of the project

How we work
At Head Energy Introcon, architect Steffen Alvær produces the visualisations and animations. With a background as a craftsman, structural engineer and architect, he works to ensure that your project is buildable, rational and in line with your wishes and needs.
Our working method consists of:
- Preparing the basis in the form of sketches, drawings and models.
- Producing visualisations and/or animations where the client sees a need, based on the project's framework.
- Adapting the style and level of detail to the client's needs.
- Delivering material that can be used in collaboration with other parties, presentations, application processes, marketing, etc.
Project experience
Steffen has produced visualisations and animations for a wide range of projects and purposes – detached houses, larger residential projects, commercial buildings, public buildings, student-run construction projects, new buildings, conversions of existing buildings, etc.
Typical purposes include collaborating with other parties and stakeholders, making an idea or intention concrete, sharpening a concept or developing alternative solutions to a problem.
