We assist with fire safety assessments for your project and can provide support in fire investigations as well as serve as fire safety consultants in legal proceedings.
We conduct fire safety condition assessments to determine whether your building complies with current regulations. According to the Fire Prevention Regulations, it is mandatory to document the fire safety of a building.

We perform independent verification (UKPR) of fire safety concepts in all safety classes.
UKPR is when an independent third party reviews and checks that the public minimum fire safety requirement has been met with the engineering that has been done. In addition, it is checked that the designer has followed the company's internal procedures and has the competence to carry out the fire technical assessment.

We assist with inspections of fire safety execution (KUT). This process, regulated by the Planning and Building Act, involves verifying that the fire safety measures designed are properly implemented and installed.
It is recommended to carry out this inspection—or alternatively, a technical due diligence (TDD)—to identify and address any deficiencies, enabling claims to be made against the responsible party before the warranty period expires.
The cost of conducting a KUT or TDD is typically justified, as the expenses related to deviations identified within the warranty period often exceed the cost of the assessment itself.
We assist owners and users in preparing fire documentation to demonstrate how fire safety is maintained during the operational phase. This includes internal control systems and evacuation plans.
We can also develop: Fire safety drawings, orientation plans, and evacuation plans.
We provide support with detailed design and execution. Our services include the development of: Risk, spread, vulnerability, impact analyses, and fire and evacuation modeling.

BrannCon AS was established in 2008 and has since delivered a wide range of fire safety consulting services to public and private developers across Norway from our base in Stavanger.
In February 2022, BrannCon AS and Head Energy's fire and risk consulting division joined forces under the new name, Head Energy BrannCon. While our office spaces and name are new, our focus on our customers remains the same.
In 2024, we expanded further by establishing a new office in Oslo, strengthening our ability to serve clients nationwide.
