Our strategy

What we are

Head Energy is an independent, growth-oriented engineering and consultancy group operating in several demanding industry segments. We are built on a model where we initially provide engineering consultants and project administrative personnel, while gradually building internal professional environments that enable us to deliver our own projects and services. This approach allows us to develop volume and margins with low risk.

Business Development

Founded by employees in 2010, Head Energy has been developed by team members who are still part of the company. Creating profitable workplaces where skilled employees can tackle challenging tasks for exciting clients drives Head Energy to establish new ventures continuously and invest in businesses with untapped potential. This has fostered a dynamic entrepreneurial culture within the company.

Growth, Profitability and Dividends

Growth is part of Head Energy’s DNA. Our goal is an annual revenue growth of 20% or more without significantly affecting profitability or dividend capacity. Growth is primarily organic and focused on our core business, with smaller acquisitions or investments aligned with our strategic framework. We use a proprietary M&A model to ensure high-quality acquisitions. Our ambition is an annual vEBITDA margin of 6.5%. Profitable operations provide us with predictability and flexibility, while maintaining dividend capacity is key to retaining and attracting top talent.

Our markets

Our operations are mainly within the energy, construction, and industrial segments. Head Energy is a broad engineering house positioned advantageously between traditional contractors and suppliers in energy production and advisory firms in construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure. Our diversity makes us resilient to market changes and cycles, encourages innovation, and provides our employees with a high degree of flexibility.

Sustainability

For Head Energy, sustainability is a significant opportunity to create positive impact, achieve results, build trust, and strengthen our competitive position. Sustainability is actively used to develop and modernize the company, setting us apart and equipping us for the future—one step ahead. The Triple Bottom Line serves as a guiding principle for sustainable business development at Head Energy.

Ownership

All shareholders in the Head Energy group are employees of the company. This cornerstone of our philosophy fosters loyalty, long-term commitment, predictability, and engagement. Our goal is to increase the number of shareholders every year.

Our Culture

Head Energy values a flat structure that encourages openness, sharing, and broad engagement. We are competence-driven and actively work to build strong professional and social environments. We believe that an inspiring workplace enhances performance.

We prioritize well-being, mastery, health, trust, and inclusion. Head Energy aims to maintain a distinctive culture that also embraces diversity. Innovation and continuous learning are critical to staying inspired and ensuring we remain one step ahead.
