Our delivery: Fire concept

Head Energy BrannCon has developed fire concept for K8 — Stavanger's new landmark and signature building. The combination of high-rise, commercial, café and restaurant requires a great degree of user adaptation and close dialogue with the developer, entrepreneur and tenants. Head Energy BrannCon has followed the process from the start of design in 2018 through to completion and commissioning in 2024. Towards the end of 2024, the latest adaptations will be carried out in close cooperation with homeowners and tenants.

K8 is centrally located in Stavanger and the developer is Base Property. The building was designed and designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and SKANSKA is the contractor. Good solutions for climate and the environment have been a high priority in the design, and the building is to be certified as BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold/Platinum.

Seid Grill and cocktail bar is located on the top floor of K8 and cooks all its dishes on charcoal and firewood. With an open flame and a high working pace, great demands are placed on good technical solutions.

The safety of our guests and staff is absolutely paramount and we are very pleased with how reliable extinguishing and warning systems are integrated into the design of the restaurant and play well on layers of interior and expression.
