New Subsea and Technology Division Established in Oslo

2025 is shaping up to be a record-breaking year for the subsea and technology company Head Energy Multicontrol. The company is now expanding with a new office in Oslo, and the search for an experienced and ambitious department manager has begun.
– Over the past year, we have taken significant steps in developing the company while consistently delivering strong results for our customers and maintaining high activity levels. Establishing a presence in Oslo represents a great opportunity to continue our growth, bringing us closer to both existing and potential clients, says Trond Erik Gundersen, Managing Director of Head Energy Multicontrol.
Growth in Both Traditional and Emerging Markets
Head Energy Multicontrol has traditionally operated in the subsea market, with core expertise in control systems, monitoring systems, and system integration. In recent years, the company has also expanded into new markets—most notably aquaculture, which has become an important business area heading into 2025.
– Historically, our revenue has been driven mainly by fatigue analysis projects and light well intervention (RLWI). This year, aquaculture has introduced a new dimension to our business, and we see strong potential for further growth in this segment. Our technology and products are designed to deliver precise real-time data in demanding operating environments, which means they require minimal adaptation to be highly effective in settings such as fish farming installations, Gundersen explains.

Positioning for New Customers and New Markets
The company is now looking for an experienced leader to spearhead the new Oslo office. The role will be responsible for building a local competence environment in the capital and developing relationships with new customers and industries.
– We see strong demand for our core expertise across multiple sectors, and we believe we have much to offer industries such as defense. With that in mind, establishing a stronger presence in and around Oslo is a natural step. It also brings us closer to the OMNI Network, with whom we already collaborate closely on several projects and tenders, Gundersen concludes.
