Ready for an exciting V&M autumn
During the last week of August, Head Energy Solve conducted an autumn gathering in Bergen. With several new faces on the team and great commitment, the course was laid for further development of maintenance & modifications in Head Energy.
Setting the course
-We are in a good position with highly skilled engineers and a reasonable base of resources. Now it is about identifying the most important tasks of autumn and safeguarding and further developing efficiency and closeness to customers,” says Arve Davidsen, CEO of Head Energy Solve.
Davidsen stepped into the role of general manager at Head Energy Solve in August and has spent the first month getting to know the engineering staff and the established customers. During the meeting in Bergen, the focus was directed forward on optimization of operations and competitive advantages.
-Head Energy Solve is built as a contender in the V&M segment, with efficient execution models, great predictability and close and good communication with the customer. As we grow, it is an important point that we bring exactly these key points with us and retain a distinct identity. It is gratifying to see how united we are internally and how much commitment there is in the group,” says Davidsen.
Technical Manager, Thor Steinsland, has been central to Head Energy Solve since its inception in 2015. He is concerned that the company evolves as it grows and that the projects carried out are increasingly complex, but that the company must focus on what makes them unique:
-In the beginning, almost 10 years ago, we were super efficient. One of the reasons for that was that the projects we carried out were smaller and could easily be carried out by a small, multi-disciplinary team. Now we have a completely different breadth and heaviness in our team and can take on larger and more complex tasks. What should nevertheless distinguish us from our competitors is the ability to adapt the organization to the project. Do not adapt the project to our organization, summarizes Steinsland.
