Head Energy Group Welcomes New Board Members

The Head Energy Group’s General Meeting decided on May 24 to expand the Board of Directors from 7 to 8 seats and appointed Ingveig Tveranger, Elin Vagle, Katrine Ørevik and Leif Madsen Bærheim as new members of the board. Nils Haukeland was appointed Executive Chairperson.

The Board of Directors at Head Energy AS consists of 3 members representing large shareholders, 2 external members and 3 members representing employees. The 2023 General Meeting appointed Nils Haukeland as Executive Chairperson, while former Chairperson, Flemming Enevoldsen, continues as Vice Chairperson. Haukeland will continue in his operative position as Chief Business Developer.

Ingveig Tveranger, Elin Vagle, Katrine Ørevik and Leif Madsen Bærheim were all appointed new members of the board at the General Meeting.

Increased Focus on Diversity

-We are very happy to announce a competent and motivated Board of Directors that has deep knowledge of Head Energy’s business and our markets and is well equipped to secure good strategic decisions in the year ahead. With the expansion and the new setup, we also achieve a much better gender balance in the Board of Directors. This is an important first step in our work to promote diversity throughout the Head Energy Group, says Nils Haukeland.

Nils Haukeland – Executive Chairperson
Nils Haukeland co-founded Head Energy Group in 2010 and held the position as Chief Financial Office until 2021 when he entered the position as Chief Business Developer. Haukeland will continue his operative focus on business development for Head Energy Group. Nils is one of the main owners of Head Energy. Board member at Head Energy AS 2010-2023. Flemming Enevoldsen – Vice Chairperson
Flemming Enevoldsen has been Chairperson of the Board at Head Energy AS since 2017 and will continue as Vice Chairperson. He has also been Chairperson of the Board at Head Energy Denmark A/S since the launch in 2016. Enevoldsen has extensive management experience from the Danish food industry as well as energy and logistics. Enevoldsen is one of two external board members.

Morten Leikvoll – Board member and CEO
Morten Leikvoll co-founded Head Energy Group in 2010 and has since held the position as CEO. Leikvoll continues as member of the board. Morten is one of the main owners of Head Energy.

Ingveig Tveranger – Board member
Ingveig Tveranger is an experience journalist and works as Senior Advisor within communications and public relations, currently employed by Aker BP, handling internal communication. Tveranger knows Head Energy well from several spells as both employee and advisor. Tveranger is one of two external board members.

Elin Vagle – Board member
Elin Vagle is Senior Project Manager for Early Phase at Head Energy Infra’s Project Administration department and has extensive experience from large construction- and development projects. Vagle is also member of the board at Head Energy Infra. Elin holds a M.Sc. in Property Development from NTNU and a B.Sc. in Urban Development from the University of Stavanger. Elin Vagle is one of three employee representants at the board of directors. Board member at Head Energy AS 2023-

Anders Lunde – Board member
Anders Lunde played a key role in launching Head Energy’s Stavanger office in 2013 and has been instrumental in developing Head Energy’s Norwegian consulting business, as well as the company’s Danish and Swedish setups. Today, Lunde is Managing Director of Head Energy Consulting AS and Head of Operations in Stavanger. Anders is one of the main owners at Head Energy.

Katrine Brunvatne Ørevik – Board member
Ørevik started at Head Energy back in 2013 but had already been an employe at Multicontrol  (Now Head Energy Multicontrol) since 2010. Ørevik has held several positions at Head Energy’s financial and payroll staff, but now works as Financial Controller at engineering focused Head Energy Solve.
Katrine Ørevik is one of three employee representants at the board of directors.

Leif Madsen Bærheim – Board member
Bærheim is the founder of BrannCon that was acquired by Head Energy Group in 2022 and now is named Head Energy BrannCon. Bærheim has a civil engineering background and today works as Executive Chairperson at Head Energy BrannCon. He is also member of the Sustainability Committee at Head Energy Group. Leif Madsen Bærheim is one of three employee representants at the board of directors.
