Byterminalen in Stavanger renewed and completed

Commissioned by Bane NOR Eiendom, Head Energy PA has been responsible for project management, design management and construction management for the conversion and extension of Byterminalen in Stavanger city centre.

Our scope: Project management, design management, construction management, client's representative, technical client's representative and HSE coordinator.

Byterminalen has undergone an extensive transformation from an older building into a modern, functional city building of 4,000 m² GFA. The project included both conversion and extension work, including a new facade, an additional storey and a bicycle parking facility for employees.

Renewal instead of demolition

Head Energy PA has led the process from planning to completion, with a focus on effective collaboration between the client and the contractors. For the project team, it has been particularly important to create space-efficient solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics and environmental considerations. Instead of demolishing and building new, the existing structure was renewed and adapted.
