Sørbø Church has undergone an extensive restoration. Head Energy PA has been responsible for construction management and HSE.

Our scope: Construction management and HSE

Sørbø Church is a long church dating from 1130 and an automatically protected heritage monument under the Norwegian Cultural Heritage Act. The restoration of the medieval church was completed in October 2025 and covered the masonry and roof, both inside and out.  

The aim of the restoration has been to ensure good-quality lime in joints, render and surfaces, limiting weathering and giving the church gentler, more long-term maintenance needs.

As construction manager and HSE coordinator, Head Energy PA has played a central role in safeguarding the client's interests, ensuring compliance with the contract and regulatory requirements, and coordinating the contractors and trades in a project where quality, care and thorough documentation have been essential.
