Hesby Church

Head Energy PA has been responsible for construction management and HSE in the restoration of Hesby Church, which was completed in October 2025.

Our scope: Construction management and HSE

Hesby Church is a medieval church from the mid-13th century and an important heritage monument protected under the Norwegian Cultural Heritage Act. The restoration covered the rehabilitation of the masonry both inside and out, carried out with traditional materials and craft techniques.

Work on historic buildings places particular demands on planning, progress and quality assurance, where modern construction principles must be balanced against heritage considerations. For Head Energy PA, the role of construction manager includes close follow-up of the contractors, dialogue with the heritage authorities and ensuring that the work is carried out within the framework set by heritage conservation, while HSE is managed in a safe and structured way.

The result is an important heritage monument preserved for the future, and a project that joins the list of historic buildings Head Energy PA has been responsible for.
